Turns Out Writing is as Dangerous as Boxing.
Funny story: I had to go buy a mouthguard for my writing. That’s right, that’s how intense it is. No, but seriously, I’ve learned that I often clench my jaw while I’m writing. Normally this isn’t an issue, but I’m on day 9 days of writing 5,000 words a day. For reference, that means I have to write for 4-5 hours every day. Sometimes longer if I hit a wall of writer’s block.
That’s 4 to 5 hours of daily teeth grinding. Ouch. I’m not a dentist, but I can tell you that’ll hurt your teeth. The guard has helped, though. Plus, I feel like a super fighter nerd when I stick it in my mouth. It means it’s time to get to work and punch my way through the obstacles.
